About Linnk Group and the Role

Linnk Group is seeking an experienced Information Technology Support Manager to oversee and manage IT operations at a manufacturing facility. This contract position is located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, specifically within a facility under the Red Sea Global Project. The role requires a hands-on IT professional with strong leadership, troubleshooting, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills to ensure reliable IT operations and minimal downtime in a 24/7, shift-based manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

The Information Technology Support Manager will function as a site leader, responsible for the comprehensive management of IT infrastructure and support services. This includes supervising an on-site IT Support Engineer and acting as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters. The successful candidate will manage IT operations independently within a remote site setting, ensuring continuous support for manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all day-to-day IT operations at the manufacturing site.
• Supervise and provide support to the on-site IT Support Engineer.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, and software applications.
• Manage basic network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Coordinate IT projects, implementations, and site-level technical activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues, decisions, and escalations.
• Collaborate closely with business users, project teams, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure IT systems and infrastructure effectively support continuous manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and resolve IT incidents efficiently to minimize business downtime.
• Manage IT operations independently with minimal supervision in a remote site environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of 5-10 years in an IT Team Lead, IT Supervisor, IT Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong background in IT Operations and infrastructure support.
• Hands-on knowledge of Desktop Support, Servers, LAN, Wi-Fi, Switches, and Connectivity Troubleshooting.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial plants, food manufacturing, laundry plants, or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently at a remote site.

Work Environment and Logistics

This is an on-site position requiring daily commuting to the manufacturing facility, which is approximately one hour from Umluj. The role operates within a 24/7 or shift-based manufacturing environment, and candidates must be willing to work these hours. A valid driving license and personal vehicle are mandatory for daily travel to the site.
