About SLS The Red Sea

SLS The Red Sea is part of Ennismore’s global lifestyle portfolio, known for its hospitality through design and service. Located on the Red Sea coast in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, the resort features 150 keys, five Food & Beverage venues, and a spa. SLS The Red Sea is building a team to support its operations, focusing on creativity and individuality.

The Role of Baker

As a Baker at SLS The Red Sea, you will join the culinary team to create breads, pastries, and specialty baked goods. This role focuses on craftsmanship, freshness, and attention to detail in every creation. You will work closely with the Head Baker and the culinary team to support daily bakery production, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. This is a full-time position based in Umluj, Tabuk, requiring 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, bake, and present a variety of breads, pastries, and bakery items according to SLS standards.
Support daily bakery production, including dough preparation, proofing, baking, and finishing.
Follow recipes, portion standards, and production guidelines to ensure consistency and minimize waste.
Maintain proper mise en place and ensure bakery items are prepared on time for daily service.
Monitor product freshness, quality, presentation, and proper storage.
Follow correct food handling, labeling, storage, and stock rotation procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, equipment, and tools.
Adhere to HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements at all times.
Work closely with the Head Baker and culinary team to support smooth daily operations.
Participate in training and development to continuously improve bakery skills and product knowledge.
Support the wider kitchen operation when required and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of experience in a baking role.
Demonstrated ability to prepare a variety of baked goods.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively as part of a culinary team.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based at SLS The Red Sea resort in Umluj, Tabuk. The role involves working within a dynamic culinary team, supporting daily operations in the bakery and contributing to the overall kitchen environment.
