Electronic Technician III Senior

About the Role

V2X is seeking an Electronic Technician III Senior to join their team in Tabuk. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience and involves leading electronic maintenance activities, including resourcing and training other electronic technicians. The successful candidate will perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS (*, AGTS, TDTs, and GFP) according to technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electronic maintenance activities, including resourcing and training other electronic technicians.
• Perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS (*, AGTS, TDTs, and GFP).
• Follow technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices when no checklist is available.
• Inform the government of maintenance timelines for both staffed and unstaffed sites, including notifying when personnel need to travel for maintenance.
• Ensure maintenance tasks do not conflict with training, exercises, and testing schedules.
• Record all maintenance activities in real-time in MAXIMO.
• Adhere to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location.
• Set up and test TADSS Devices to confirm equipment functionality, including interoperability and operation verification.
• Monitor hardware baselines and provide recommendations if updates fail.
• Analyze maintenance trends, track component consumption, manage obsolescence, implement risk management strategies, and conduct failure analysis to minimize risks and improve system reliability.
• Manage configuration for all maintenance on TADSS Devices and GFP devices.
• Install modifications or upgrade kits as per manufacturer's instructions.
• May serve as a preventive rover for unstaffed sites.
• May be responsible for installing and maintaining software and hardware for installed applications and operating systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in electronic maintenance.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering stations, and specialized test equipment, including Digital Multimeters.
• Experience with Government Furnished Equipment (GFP) and Components-Off-The-Shelf (COTS).

Work Environment

The work environment primarily involves simulation facilities, either onsite or at a Point of Need (PoN) location where training is conducted, accounting for 90% of regular work. The remaining 10% of work is performed within an office environment.

Physical Activities and Travel

Physical activities include stooping, bending, lifting, and/or carrying up to 35 lbs. Short periods of walking and standing for extended durations are likely. Travel will be required up to 40-50% of the time.
