NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is developing the world's largest plant for green ammonia production, aiming to support a carbon-free future. Located in Neom, Tabuk, NGHC will integrate up to 4GW of onshore solar and wind energy to produce up to 650 tons of green ammonia daily for global transportation, with operations scheduled to commence in 2026.

The Role of Instrument Maintenance Planner

NGHC is seeking an Instrument Maintenance Planner to join its Maintenance group in the Neom Region. This full-time role involves planning and scheduling maintenance activities, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring timely execution. The planner will be responsible for reporting Maintenance KPIs and allocating resources to maximize efficiency and manpower utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all instrument maintenance jobs.
• Support in the preparation and reporting of maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Report schedule compliance and other KPI parameters effectively.
• Report the status of external jobs and act as the primary contact for contractors.
• Ensure compliance with NGHC Safety Standards and the contractors’ management system.
• Optimize and utilize manpower efficiently.
• Lead daily Operation and Maintenance coordination meetings and contractor kick-off meetings.
• Interface with NGHC-MM to prioritize tasks and provide visibility on material orders.
• Provide on-call support for plant emergencies to plan necessary maintenance activities.
• Develop detailed maintenance schedules using tools such as SAP S/4Hana or MS Project.
• Define work breakdown structures (WBS) and sequence activities.
• Identify and allocate manpower, equipment, tooling, spares, and materials.
• Track and monitor the progress of electrical works and generate weekly/monthly reports.
• Identify delays, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and revise schedules as needed.
• Ensure inventory control and balance for all instrument spare parts.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Instrument Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning.
• Domain expertise in SAP PM/maintenance modules, with a strong command of relevant SAP transactions and configuration.
• Ability to act as an SAP power user and Master Data specialist is an advantage.

People Management

This role serves as a single point of contact for contractors and external service providers, requiring effective coordination and communication.
