The Role: Lead Cost Engineer

Parsons is seeking a Lead Cost Engineer to join its team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position supports a landmark, world-class Giga project. The individual in this role will take ownership of comprehensive cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and change control processes, leading a dedicated team of cost professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and manage overall project cost control systems, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for multi-billion-dollar infrastructure and building packages.
• Conduct monthly variance analyses, identify cost trends, and provide early warnings to senior leadership regarding potential budget overruns or risks.
• Oversee the change management workflow, ensuring all variations, claims, and scope changes are accurately evaluated, tracked, and incorporated into the project forecast.
• Prepare and present high-level financial reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for Parsons leadership and the client.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cost engineers, promoting best practices and ensuring alignment with corporate and project-specific governance.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Lead Cost Engineer position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in cost engineering or a related financial management field, particularly within large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
