About JIGPC and the Role

JIGPC- Jazan Integrated Gasification and Power Company is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join its operations in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. This contract position is integral to ensuring the optimal performance and safety of critical equipment and systems within the company's gasification and power production facilities.

Role Overview

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and safety of equipment and systems critical to gasification and power production. This role involves close collaboration with Operations and Maintenance teams to reduce unplanned downtime, investigate equipment failures, and implement effective predictive maintenance programs. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve the reliability and performance of critical plant equipment.
• Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure investigations to identify recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Analyze operational and maintenance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), FMEA, and other reliability improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to optimize plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental requirements, and industry best practices.
• Prepare reliability reports, recommendations, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through innovation, data analysis, and predictive maintenance technologies.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a reliability engineering role. Experience in heavy industrial environments, particularly within gasification, power generation, or similar process industries, is highly preferred. A solid background in equipment reliability, maintenance strategy development, and failure analysis is essential.
