The Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor in Jazan

We are looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to take on a full-time role based in Jazan. This position involves comprehensive oversight of quantity surveying functions, from initial project planning and cost control to managing stakeholder relationships and preparing critical project documentation. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing construction plans and accurately preparing quantity requirements for projects.
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, alongside contracts, to ensure optimal value and efficiency.
• Liaising effectively with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Preparing comprehensive reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other necessary documentation.
• Advising managers and clients on potential improvements and new strategic approaches for cost and project management.
• Keeping meticulous track of materials and initiating orders as required to maintain project timelines.
• Documenting any changes in design and subsequently updating project budgets to reflect these modifications.
• Establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Traveling from the office to various project sites as and when required for oversight and coordination.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong foundational knowledge of infrastructure projects and their specific requirements.
• Demonstrated strong background in safety practices and regulations within construction.
• Proficiency across all construction disciplines, coupled with practical "how-to" knowledge.
• Robust knowledge of cost management principles and their application.
• Strong understanding and experience in construction coordination.
• Possession of a valid driving license.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position located in Jazan. The role involves regular travel to various project sites as operational needs dictate.
