contracting Basmouk is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for managing project costs and ensuring financial accuracy throughout our construction projects. We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in quantity surveying within the construction industry.

Role Purpose

The Quantity Surveyor plays a vital role in the financial management of construction projects. This involves conducting detailed cost analysis, preparing essential documentation, and overseeing financial aspects from project inception through to completion. The successful candidate will ensure cost efficiency and adherence to budgetary constraints, contributing directly to the financial success of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs, including engineering studies and precise calculations of material lengths, areas, and volumes.
• Prepare comprehensive quantity schedules and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to determine total project costs.
• Conduct thorough market price comparisons for materials, labor, and equipment to develop accurate project budgets.
• Review contractor invoices and reconcile them with work completed on-site to facilitate timely payment processing.
• Track and calculate costs associated with client-requested modifications or additions (change orders) during construction phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the construction sector.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimations.
• Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and managing project budgets effectively.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within project teams, contributing to the financial success of various construction initiatives in a dynamic environment.
