About the Accountant Role

Zamil Air Conditioners is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis. This role requires 2-5 years of experience in accounting and offers a competitive salary range of SR. 150,000 - 250,000 per month. The position is available across multiple locations including Yanbu, Medina, Al Khobar, Al Jubail, Jeddah, Jazan, and King Abdullah Economic City.

Core Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for a comprehensive range of financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Key areas of responsibility include managing financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, conducting reconciliations, assisting with audits, and supporting tax preparation and financial planning.

Financial Record Management and Reporting

• Maintain accurate daily financial transaction records using double-entry bookkeeping.
• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee the general ledger to ensure all financial data is properly categorized and up to date.

Operational Accounting and Compliance

• Issue invoices to clients and track incoming payments for accounts receivable.
• Review, verify, and execute payments to vendors and suppliers for accounts payable.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including calculating wages, overtime, and deductions.
• Ensure correct withholding of income taxes, insurance premiums, and retirement contributions.
• Compare internal financial records against external bank and credit card statements to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices.
• Compute corporate or individual tax liabilities and ensure compliance with local government regulations.
• Prepare and file annual tax returns on time to avoid penalties.

Financial Planning and Advisory

• Analyze historical data to create budgets and financial forecasts.
• Advise senior management on financial actions, including cost-reduction strategies, revenue enhancement, and risk assessment.

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of financial principles and regulatory compliance.
