About the Role

Luxury Collection is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals only and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The Assistant Director of Finance will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Accounting Office, focusing on financial analysis, reporting, and control.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office.
Conduct financial analysis and prepare financial reports.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
Manage audit and control procedures, including internal, external, and regulatory audits.
Perform asset and liability reconciliation.
Control working capital and cash flow.
Ensure the accuracy of the Profit & Loss statement, including proper cost matching to revenue and correct account recording.
Reconcile the balance sheet.
Ensure current and proper tax rates are used for sales/use tax, and amounts are collected or accrued correctly.
Ensure compliance with standard and local operating procedures (SOPs and LSOPs).
Verify that account balances are supported by appropriate documentation in accordance with SOPs.
Review audit issues and implement necessary corrections.
Ensure property permits, licenses, and vendor contracts (if applicable) are current.
Utilize centralized accounting processes and shared services.

Leadership and Team Management

Lead, influence, and encourage team members through effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Advocate for sound financial and business decision-making, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
Ensure regular communication with employees regarding business objectives, expectations, and performance recognition.
Foster teamwork and encourage work/life balance within the team.
Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with employees.
Participate in the employee performance appraisal process, providing feedback as required.
Ensure disciplinary procedures and documentation adhere to SOPs and LSOPs, supporting the Peer Review Process.
Administer property policies fairly and consistently.
Maintain an "open door" policy and solicit employee feedback.

Required Skills and Experience

2-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Ability to generate accurate and timely financial reports and presentations.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate information, choose optimal solutions, and solve problems.
Proficiency in compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, and verifying financial data.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
