About the Role

Groupe SEB is seeking a Business Development Manager / KAM – New Business to drive growth in the Saudi market. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering Jeddah and Makkah. The role focuses on identifying, developing, and onboarding new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities across relevant channels, customers, and market segments.
Establish strong commercial relationships with potential customers and decision-makers.
Lead negotiations to convert opportunities into profitable business and develop long-term relationships with newly acquired customers.
Develop and execute business development plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Monitor customer profitability and manage commercial risks, including payment terms and credit exposure.
Expand Groupe SEB's presence in SDA and Cookware categories by identifying new channels and business models.
Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams on customer-specific activities and product launches.
Lead the business planning and forecasting cycle for assigned customers in collaboration with the Demand Planning team.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and monitor actual sales against forecasts, identifying corrective actions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure successful customer development.
Monitor sales performance, profitability, and business pipeline, preparing regular reports on opportunities and risks.

Customer Development and Relationship Management

Develop strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Understand customer needs, requirements, and business priorities.
Ensure timely delivery of products and services and effectively resolve customer issues.
Position Groupe SEB as a strategic partner and collaborate on value-creating initiatives with customers and the Trade Marketing team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

This role requires close collaboration with various internal departments to ensure seamless customer development and operational efficiency. This includes coordinating customer onboarding, collaborating with Finance on payment terms and credit, and working with Supply Chain for product availability and delivery. The Business Development Manager will also partner with Marketing for product launches and ensure smooth communication across teams and with customers.

Commercial Performance and Reporting

The manager will monitor sales performance, profitability, customer development, and the business pipeline. This involves tracking progress against business development targets and KPIs, preparing regular reports on opportunities and risks, and conducting business reviews to recommend corrective actions. Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity information in company systems and ensuring compliance with Groupe SEB policies are also key aspects of this role.
