Role Overview: Laundry Runner

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking a Laundry Runner to manage all aspects of linen, uniform, and guest laundry operations. This full-time position requires familiarity with laundry equipment and processes within the linen room. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Report for duty in full, clean, smart, and well-groomed attire.
• Sign in upon reporting for duty and sign out when reporting off duty.
• Prepare daily production forms for laundry operations.
• Conduct routine checks of the work area for preparation.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Clean and tidy the work area before the end of the shift.
• Shut down steam pipes (if applicable), switches, and the main panel during the last shift.
• Handover dirty uniforms to the Linen Room.
• Adhere to environmental best practices, including reducing waste, recycling, and reusing materials where possible.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and linen room operations.
