About eXtra (United Electronics Co.)

eXtra (United Electronics Co.) is a prominent retailer in Saudi Arabia, committed to providing comprehensive after-sales support to its customers. We are currently seeking a Computer Technician to join our dedicated After-Sales Service team.

Role Overview

The Computer Technician will be responsible for delivering technical support and maintenance services for a range of computer and mobile devices. This full-time role involves direct customer interaction, efficient issue resolution, and contributing to the overall customer service experience within a retail or service environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install screen protectors and coatings for mobile phones and smartwatches.
Install and configure Windows operating systems for PCs and laptops.
Install, activate, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office and antivirus software.
Format and reinstall operating systems on mobile devices, PCs, and laptops.
Transfer data between mobile devices of different brands and operating systems.
Configure and troubleshoot printers and related peripherals.
Provide technical support and resolve customer issues efficiently.
Receive maintenance devices from customers and create service requests in the system.
Diagnose and perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of experience in computer and mobile device maintenance.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with antivirus software installation and activation processes.
Basic understanding of printer configuration and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Attributes

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail or service environment.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role is an integral part of our After-Sales Service operations, contributing to customer satisfaction and technical support delivery.
