Samaco Motors is a leading automotive company dedicated to maintaining high operational standards across its facilities. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Jeddah as a Facility Engineer Intern, contributing to the efficient management of our diverse branches.

The Internship Opportunity

This Facility Engineer internship provides a valuable opportunity for aspiring professionals to gain practical experience in facility maintenance and engineering operations. The role involves coordinating and overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, engineering tasks, and construction/renovation works across all company branches. The intern will contribute to ensuring timely project execution, maintaining quality standards, supporting cost control measures, and adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance requests across all branches.
• Receive, review, and respond to maintenance requests received via calls and emails.
• Deploy technicians based on approved maintenance requests, in coordination with the Facility & Engineering Manager.
• Coordinate with external maintenance service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Prioritize maintenance tasks effectively based on urgency and operational impact.
• Ensure all maintenance work meets required quality standards and complies with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Manage and allocate petty cash for urgent technical requirements.
• Follow up on supplier payments and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and records of all maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements and appliance standards.
• Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and internal customer requirements.

Tamheer Program Details

This position is offered as part of the Tamheer Program, a national initiative designed to provide practical training and development opportunities. The internship has a structured duration of 6 months and is exclusively open to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the Tamheer Program.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking candidates with 0-1 years of experience, demonstrating a keen interest in facility engineering and maintenance. Ideal applicants will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
