Role Purpose

The Guest Service Expert / Hostess plays a crucial role in ensuring guests enjoy their meals by providing a wide range of services that extend beyond basic food service. This position is integral to delivering unique and memorable experiences for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Take initiative to deliver a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their meal.
• Set tables according to established standards.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interact with and serve guests in a professional manner.
• Clean work areas and maintain supplies.
• Ensure transactions are handled smoothly and feel integrated into the overall guest experience.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining a safe workplace environment.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold quality standards in all aspects of service delivery.
• Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional at all times.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to read and visually verify information, such as menus.
• Capacity to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
