Housekeeping Supervisor

Centro Shaheen in Jeddah is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team. This full-time position is for professionals who are focused on guest satisfaction and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service within the hotel environment.

Role Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Housekeeping Attendants to ensure operational objectives are met. This role involves maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance standards according to specified requirements, while also providing solutions and support to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assign job duties to Housekeeping Attendants.
• Issue keys and necessary supplies to the housekeeping team.
• Monitor VIP rooms, "Do Not Disturb" requests, "Sleep Out" rooms, and "Double-Lock" rooms, taking appropriate action.
• Attend daily meetings to receive special instructions and updates.
• Verify check-out rooms before reporting them as vacant.
• Handle and fulfill special requests from guests.
• Inspect cleaned areas using a checklist to ensure adequate cleanliness, standard supply levels in rooms, and report immediate repair needs.
• Complete reports for and hand over found articles to the lost and found department.
• Supervise the cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells.
• Train and assist Housekeeping Attendants, and provide performance feedback to superiors.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper handling and maintenance of all housekeeping machines and equipment.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within a supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Proven capability to provide effective solutions to guest needs.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah.
