About the Role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking an Interior Design Manager to join its team on a full-time basis, based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with coverage across the Middle East. This role is responsible for leading interior design coordination, reviewing design deliverables, and supporting on-site supervision to ensure precise alignment between design intent and construction execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior design coordination across architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure design intent aligns with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings and monitor design progress.
• Review and validate all interior design drawings, including layouts, details, shop drawings, and IFC packages.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and international design standards.
• Identify design clashes and provide practical, buildable interior design solutions.

Project Execution and Quality Assurance

• Support construction teams with interior design clarifications during project execution.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve design-related issues in a timely manner.
• Oversee the development of detailed interior design drawings and documentation.
• Ensure high-quality detailing, finishes, materials, and overall design accuracy.

Collaboration and Reporting

• Maintain organized design documentation, revisions, and records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication.
• Present design concepts, materials, and updates to stakeholders when required.
• Support project leadership with design input and reporting.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Global Project Director and/or Vice President MEA.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in interior design management, demonstrating a strong ability to bridge design intent with construction execution. Familiarity with Saudi codes, standards, and approval processes is essential.

• Experience in large-scale commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves managing multidisciplinary collaboration with architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders across all project phases within the Middle East region.
