About the Role

Baytonia is seeking an International Purchasing Accountant to join its Accounting team. This full-time position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities focused on accounting activities related to international purchasing and supplier transactions. The role is suitable for candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The International Purchasing Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all accounting processes related to international procurement. This involves meticulous record-keeping, transaction processing, and coordination with various internal teams to support efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Record and process international purchasing transactions accurately.
Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and related documents.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of purchasing and accounting documents.
Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.
Monitor payments to international suppliers and follow up on outstanding balances.
Support account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with accounting documentation related to imports and international purchases.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
Follow up proactively on pending transactions and support timely month-end activities.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting and purchasing processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to international purchasing.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and collaborate effectively within a team.
Strong communication skills.
A continuous improvement mindset, seeking better ways to work and grow.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within Baytonia's Accounting team, located in Makkah. The role involves working in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and organizational skills are highly valued.
