Role Overview

The Maintenance Services Technician II performs line maintenance on Aircraft In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems and other aircraft equipment. This role ensures system serviceability and functionality, involving troubleshooting, component replacement, and administrative duties in accordance with regulations and procedures. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including component replacement, adjustments, inspections, and functional tests.
• Troubleshoot system failures down to Line Replaceable Units (LRU), cabling, or other aircraft systems, and conduct functional tests post-rectification.
• Execute Cabin Sweeps according to Panasonic LMP’s and report findings.
• Perform Built-in (BITE) and manual tests.
• Conduct Software and Media Loading.
• Clean components and equipment racks/filters as required by contract.
• Complete aircraft documentation in line with customer-specific requirements.
• Ensure timely escalation and coordination with the Lead or Supervisor regarding any issues in the assigned aircraft area.
• Work on other aircraft equipment as assigned, based on aircraft type.
• Communicate and interface with customers.
• Certify all completed work under company-issued authority and governing regulations.

Administrative Duties

• Assist in the management of airside inventory, including cycle counting, packaging, and shipping.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health, safety, and tool care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor or Management.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating proficiency in aircraft maintenance and IFEC systems.
