About the Role

Aroma City Group, a leading company in shopping mall and commercial real estate management, is seeking a Mall General Manager for a large retail destination in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing comprehensive operations, tenant relations, and financial performance to drive commercial growth and operational excellence.

Role Overview

The Mall General Manager will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the mall's operations. This includes financial oversight, managing tenant relationships, ensuring operational and facility governance, and developing strategies to enhance footfall and customer experience. The role requires a seasoned professional capable of maintaining high standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the mall’s entire profit and loss (P&L), develop annual budgets, optimize operational expenditures, and maximize Net Operating Income (NOI).
Serve as the executive liaison for hundreds of retail, F&B, and anchor tenants, ensuring high lease compliance, timely rent collection, and optimal occupancy rates.
Supervise mall facilities, MEP infrastructure, housekeeping, crowd management, and health, safety, and security (HSE) standards to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Collaborate with marketing teams to devise footfall-driving activations, seasonal campaigns, and community events that elevate the mall’s brand positioning and retail sales.
Maintain five-star visitor service standards across all public zones, amenities, and parking structures to deliver an exceptional guest journey.
Ensure full alignment with Saudi governmental authorities, Baladiyah, Civil Defense, and local commercial guidelines.
Direct, mentor, and evaluate cross-functional departmental managers and on-site contractors to sustain peak operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in mall management or commercial real estate.
Proven track record in P&L management and strategic financial leadership.
Demonstrated experience in tenant relations and lease management.
Strong understanding of mall operations, facility governance, and HSE standards.
Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies for retail destinations.
Ability to ensure regulatory compliance and liaise effectively with governmental authorities.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and operates within a dynamic large-scale shopping mall environment. The position is full-time, requiring a commitment to operational excellence and strategic management.
