About the Reservations Agent Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a dedicated Reservations Agent to join our team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to contribute to a seamless guest experience by managing all aspects of room reservations.

Core Reservations Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and accurately determine the appropriate room type.
• Verify the availability of room types and rates within the reservation system.
• Clearly explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and meticulously document all special requests.
• Answer guest inquiries regarding property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Accurately input and access data within the reservation system.
• Indicate special room reservation types, such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations, by entering the correct code and rate.
• Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.

• Communicate professionally and clearly, using appropriate etiquette when answering telephones.

• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Comply with all quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of experience in a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of reservations processes and guest service.

Physical Demands

The role requires the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
