About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Room Service Supervisor to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on ensuring optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction within the room service department.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure staff collaboration for optimum service and guest needs fulfillment.
Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing areas.
Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO adherence, and cleanliness.
Complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
Serve as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
Adhere to all company and safety/security policies; report incidents and complete required training.
Ensure professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
Welcome guests according to standards, anticipate needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
Communicate professionally, foster positive working relationships, and support team goals.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities for efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost savings.

Physical Requirements

Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
Visual inspection of tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire shift.
Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
Moving up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and ensure high service standards.
Strong understanding of hospitality operations and guest service principles.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the hospitality sector, based in Jeddah. The role involves working closely with a team to maintain operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
