Role Summary

The Supervisor InRoom Dining ensures that The Ritz-Carlton's "Gold Standards" are consistently met with attention and care. This full-time position is based in the Red Sea region and requires an individual with 2-5 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity. The role involves overseeing daily operations to ensure optimal service and guest satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure staff collaborate effectively to provide optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff personal hygiene and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing tasks, including organizing supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing doors.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, cleanliness, and adherence to the FIFO method.
• Complete scheduled inventories, stock, and order necessary supplies.
• Monitor seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas.
• Process work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, organizing, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as an example and initial point of contact for the "Fair Treatment Guarantee and Open Door Policy."

Operational Responsibilities

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect company proprietary information and assets.
• Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
• Contribute to team goals and meet quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds (** kg) without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or the entire work shift.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including fine print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting at the waist, crawling, and stooping.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces; climb stairs and/or service ramps.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer phone calls with appropriate etiquette.
• Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
