About the Sales Engineer - Truck & Bus Role

Haji Husein Alireza & Co. Ltd. (شركة الحاج حسين على رضا و شركاه المحدودة) is seeking a Sales Engineer - Truck & Bus to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is integral to our sales operations, focusing on maximizing vehicle fleet sales opportunities and fostering strong customer relationships.

Role Overview

The Sales Engineer is responsible for the sale of trucks and buses, ensuring adherence to department standards and company policy. This role involves supervising daily transactions, providing periodic reports, and strategically engaging with new and existing corporate customers to drive future purchases and expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visits and calls to existing and potential corporate customers.
• Advise customers on appropriate vehicles based on their specific needs, intended use, and budget.
• Present all technical, interior, exterior, price, and safety features of vehicles, assisting customers in their selection and addressing inquiries.
• Prepare and submit daily visit reports.
• Follow up on the documentation process for sold vehicles, provide customer updates, and coordinate vehicle delivery.
• Target corporate customers, including government entities, multinational companies, car rental agencies, and small to medium businesses.
• Expand the customer targeting network through proactive calling and visiting potential customers for sales prospecting.
• Deliver technical product presentations detailing truck/bus features, competitive advantages, and available services to potential customers.
• Analyze customer needs and propose comprehensive solutions, including service, roadside assistance, maintenance, insurance, and financing options.
• Prepare professional presentations that emphasize the value-price advantage of our offerings.
• Submit quotations and conduct follow-ups with customers after presentations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information and call logs.
• Prepare offers based on customer requirements and standard technical specifications, generate accounts/quotes, present them to customers, enter account details into CRM, follow up on quotes, and finalize deals.
• Coordinate with the Internal Lending Department (ILD) regarding financing and credit deals, and assist in credit requests.
• Negotiate, finalize, and follow up on sales agreements to facilitate timely payment collection.
• Monitor and report accurately on market trends and competitors’ activities.
• Update agency records with customer information to ensure complete and accurate database maintenance.
• Prepare MANEC specifications with the support of the Branch Manager for on-order chassis.
• Ensure correct delivery of vehicles to the customer site.
• Responsible for collecting payments and installments from customers on time.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably within the truck and bus or heavy vehicle industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sales processes from initial prospecting to deal finalization.
• Strong understanding of vehicle technical specifications and features.
• Proficiency in preparing reports and maintaining customer databases.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, requiring regular customer engagement and visits within a dynamic sales environment.
