The Senior Business Analyst Role

CoorB is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role involves documenting current-state business logic, defining future-state requirements, validating migrated outputs, and supporting the successful business adoption of new solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

• Conducting workshops with business users, data owners, and technical teams.
• Documenting current-state reports, KPIs, business rules, manual processes, and data pain points.
• Identifying business-critical reports, dashboards, datasets, and regulatory outputs.
• Defining future-state functional requirements for Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehousing (DWH), Master Data Management (MDM), data quality, and data governance.
• Supporting report rationalization by identifying what to retain, migrate, consolidate, or retire.
• Documenting source-to-target mappings from a business perspective.
• Defining KPI definitions, metric logic, data ownership, and business glossary terms.
• Preparing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, test cases, and business validation scripts.
• Coordinating user sign-off for migrated reports and target-state datasets.
• Maintaining requirement traceability from current architecture to target architecture.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates should demonstrate a strong background and understanding in the following areas:

• Strong business analysis experience, typically 5-10 years, specifically within data, Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehousing (DWH), or transformation programs.
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or other regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of reporting, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
• Ability to document complex business rules and translate them into clear technical requirements.

Essential Skills

The successful candidate will possess the following key skills:

• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Good SQL understanding is preferred.
• Experience with documentation tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, or Visio.
