Senior Officer Inside Sales

About the Role

Folk Maritime is seeking a Senior Officer Inside Sales to join their team in Makkah, with operations covering Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role focuses on managing spot sales activities, preparing proposals, and ensuring accurate handling of quotations and documentation. The Senior Officer will support the sales team by identifying growth opportunities and delivering a seamless customer experience to strengthen business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure export business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with logistic providers and overseas partners to ensure long-term business growth.
• Prepare and manage customer quotations, ensure timely follow-up, and handle related documentation with accuracy.
• Collaborate with overseas agents to manage and facilitate export processes, documentation, local charges, and compliance.
• Work closely with sales operations and customer service & operations to ensure seamless and timely service delivery.
• Monitor international market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide input for sales strategy.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports and provide insights for management decision-making.
• Update CRM or manual tools and internal systems with customer requirements, ensuring alignment with sales team inputs.
• Submit weekly forecasts to sales operations for alignment and approvals regarding space and equipment.
• Submit quarterly forecasts to align with budget requirements by lane and by customer.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in inside sales, particularly within the maritime or logistics industry.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending to the Jeddah market. The role involves internal collaboration with various departments and external coordination with partners and agents.
