About the Role

Serviceplan Group Middle East is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves serving as the operational anchor for a significant transformation program within a major UAE bank.

Role Context and Scope

This position is distinct from a coordination role, requiring active management across timelines, stakeholders, and workstreams. The Senior Project Manager will navigate shifting priorities and stakeholder pushback, managing upwards and across difficult, senior client stakeholders from both business and IT divisions. The role focuses on protecting project scope, identifying risks early, and ensuring the team progresses without needing to escalate every decision.

Key Responsibilities

Run the program plan end-to-end, including milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and reporting.
Own client-facing project governance, encompassing status calls, steering committee preparation, and follow-through.
Navigate and align stakeholders from marketing, IT, procurement, and C-suite, often simultaneously.
Protect scope by clearly documenting change requests, flagging commercial implications, and maintaining agreed boundaries.
Keep internal teams (strategy, design, technology) aligned to one shared delivery cadence.
Produce clean client-facing deliverables such as status reports, decision logs, risk registers, and milestone tracking.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in project or program management, specifically within complex transformation initiatives. The ability to manage high-stakes programs and senior client relationships is essential.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a professional services environment, often on client-site projects.
