About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Senior Registrar in Internal Medicine to join their team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves providing comprehensive medical care, managing chronic conditions, and contributing to population health initiatives. The role emphasizes evidence-based medicine and value-based care principles.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including patient histories, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and individual patient needs.
Manage and follow up on chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory disorders.
Provide acute care for patients with acute illnesses, infections, and injuries, facilitating appropriate specialist referrals.
Engage in population health management by identifying community health issues, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health education.
Utilize telemedicine platforms for remote consultations, patient monitoring, and virtual follow-up care.
Collaborate with other specialists, primary care physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Adhere to value-based care principles to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs through enhanced coordination and efficient resource utilization.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management strategies.
Stay current with advancements in internal medicine, including new treatment modalities, medications, guidelines, and value-based care models, integrating them into clinical practice.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and clinical audits to enhance patient care.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Internal Medicine.
Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive medical assessments and develop treatment plans.
Proficiency in managing chronic medical conditions and providing acute care.
Experience with telemedicine platforms is beneficial.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with medical advancements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
