About ALTAWKILAT and the Role

ALTAWKILAT is seeking a Transmission Specialist to join its team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for professionals with 2-5 years of experience in automotive transmission systems. The role focuses on expert diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various transmission types to ensure optimal vehicle performance and reliability.

Core Responsibilities

Diagnose transmission and driveline issues accurately using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
Inspect, repair, overhaul, and rebuild both automatic and manual transmission systems.
Perform removal, installation, and replacement of transmission assemblies and related components.
Execute transmission fluid services, necessary adjustments, and preventative maintenance procedures.
Conduct test-drives of vehicles to identify and verify transmission concerns effectively.
Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and established repair procedures.
Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting electronic transmission systems.
Maintain precise service records and comprehensive repair documentation.
Ensure strict compliance with all safety standards and company operational procedures.
Collaborate efficiently with service advisors and other technicians to deliver high-quality repairs.

Required Qualifications

A Diploma or Technical Certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of automatic, manual, CVT, and dual-clutch transmission systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic scanners and specialized transmission tools.
Ability to read and accurately interpret technical manuals and schematics.
A valid driver’s license is preferred for this position.
