Introduction to the Area Sales Executive Role

Sundus is seeking an Area Sales Executive, Quartz, to join its team in the Makkah Region, covering Jeddah and the Western Region. This is a contract position focused on driving sales of natural marble, quartz, and engineered stone surfaces. The role requires a strong field sales capability and a proactive approach to client engagement and business development.

Core Purpose of the Position

The primary objective of this role is to manage day-to-day sales within an assigned territory, acting as the frontline point of contact for a diverse client base. The Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with dealers, fabricators, contractors, and project clients, with a focus on converting inquiries into consistent order volume and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to dealers, fabricators, contractors, showrooms, and project sites within the assigned area to generate leads and promote the company's product range.
• Identify new business opportunities and execute a consistent visit plan across the Jeddah/Western Region territory.
• Follow up on client inquiries, prepare and dispatch quotations, and coordinate sample requests and delivery.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat orders and steady sales volume.
• Coordinate with internal sales, technical, and logistics teams regarding stock availability, pricing, delivery timelines, and order status.
• Manage payment collection, outstanding invoices, and necessary order documentation.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product introductions, reporting market feedback to management.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, quotations, and sales activities, submitting regular sales reports.
• Contribute to the achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets for the designated area.
• Address basic client queries and complaints, escalating technical or commercial issues to the Project Sales Manager when required.
• Represent the company at local exhibitions, showroom events, and client meetings throughout Jeddah and the surrounding region.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of field sales experience, preferably within marble, quartz, engineered stone, tiles, building materials, or related construction/interior products, with exposure to the Saudi Arabia market.
• Valid Saudi driving license is mandatory.
• Possession of a transferable Iqama or eligibility to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Demonstrated strong field sales ability and effective relationship-building skills.
• Proactive approach to lead generation and inquiry follow-up.
• Good understanding of dealer/contractor sales processes, quotation preparation, and basic order follow-up procedures.
• Ability to track competitor activity and provide relevant market feedback.

Work Environment and Expectations

This role is field-based and requires comfort with regular travel and daily client visits across the assigned Jeddah and Western Region territory. The Executive will work collaboratively with internal sales, technical, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
