About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Bell Desk Supervisor to join their team in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to oversee bell desk operations and ensure exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests, provide information on property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
Assist guests and visitors with entry and exit from the property, including opening doors and handling luggage.
Transport guest luggage to and from rooms or designated bell areas, and assist with loading/unloading luggage from vehicles.
Provide directions and arrange transportation services (*, taxi, shuttle, limousine) for guests, recording advance requests as needed.
Dispatch bell staff or valet staff and communicate parking procedures to guests.
Follow up with guests to ensure their requests and problems are resolved to their satisfaction.
Serve as a departmental role model, assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Operational Standards and Conduct

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
Communicate using clear and professional language, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
Capability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, run, walk, jog).
Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 75 pounds with assistance.
Skill in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong commitment to guest service and the ability to perform physical tasks as outlined. Additional duties may be assigned by Supervisors as needed.
