About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Credit Manager for a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. This role is integral to the financial operations, focusing on the efficient management of accounts receivables and credit authorization processes. Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Credit Manager oversees the daily management of accounts receivables, ensuring the accuracy and timely dispersal of invoices. A core function of this position involves actively following up on delinquent accounts and conducting research to make informed decisions regarding credit authorization for incoming customers. The role requires close collaboration with sales and catering teams to facilitate timely credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and provide accurate and timely financial reports and presentations.
  • Compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, and verify financial information and data.
  • Execute accounts receivable period-end closing functions, procedures, and credit reporting.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the policies and procedures outlined in the credit policy.
  • Interact with sales and catering staff to facilitate timely credit decisions for new customers.
  • Demonstrate and apply knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Utilize computers and computer systems, including hardware and software, for data processing and information management.
  • Apply relevant information and individual judgment to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Maintain technical proficiency and integrate new knowledge into daily tasks.
  • Stay knowledgeable of the accounts receivable system.
  • Submit all required reports in a timely manner, meeting established delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of profits and losses.
  • Work towards achieving and exceeding performance, budget, and team goals.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work tasks.
  • Monitor all applicable taxes, ensuring they are current, collected, and/or accrued.
  • Ensure property billings are sent error-free and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor receivables for timely collections and manage appropriate collection correspondence.

Additional Duties

  • Provide information to supervisors and co-workers via telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Offer direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies, procedures, and the efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to determine optimal solutions and resolve problems.
  • Inform and update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers and department managers.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience in accounts receivables or credit management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and relevant financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
