Data & AI Platform Section Head

About the Role

FNRCO is seeking a Data & AI Platform Section Head to lead the engineering, delivery, and operational management of enterprise data and AI platforms. This full-time position is based in Makkah, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah cities, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role focuses on enabling analytics, AI, and enterprise reporting while ensuring platforms are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with digital priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise data and AI strategies into actionable engineering roadmaps and platform enablement plans, ensuring support for analytics, AI, and enterprise data needs.
• Lead engineering, deployment, and operational support for data and AI platforms, overseeing provisioning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Enable advanced analytics, AI, and reporting capabilities by providing high-quality, reliable, and accessible data, and support business teams and data scientists with necessary platforms and tools.
• Ensure seamless integration of data across applications, platforms, and enterprise systems, managing API/middleware support for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
• Provide regular updates to the Enterprise Platform, Apps & Analytics Manager on roadmap execution, risks, and modernization priorities, applying enterprise standards and best practices.
• Support monitoring of day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of subordinates, providing clear direction and promoting a high-performance work environment.

Platform Strategy and Operations

This role is responsible for executing the data and AI platform strategy, ensuring that all platforms meet enterprise standards for security, resilience, and performance. It involves overseeing the entire lifecycle from engineering and deployment to operational support and optimization, critical for business analytics and AI workloads.

AI/Analytics Enablement and Integration

A core function of this position is to facilitate advanced analytics and AI capabilities by ensuring data platforms deliver high-quality, reliable data. This includes supporting data scientists and business teams with the necessary tools and environments to accelerate AI model development and adoption, as well as managing seamless data integration across all enterprise systems.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

The Section Head will provide consistent reporting and updates on platform execution, risks, and modernization efforts to management. This also includes maintaining accurate documentation for platform configurations and operations to support compliance and audit readiness, alongside a commitment to continuous improvement and automation within the data and AI platform maturity.

People Management and Compliance

The role involves active participation in people management, including mentoring and coaching subordinates, providing clear direction, and delegating responsibilities. Additionally, the Section Head will ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and contribute to identifying opportunities for process improvements.
