Design Project Manager

About the Role

Alpin is seeking a Design Project Manager to support a significant Development Master Plan project in the Jeddah-Makkah region. This full-time position requires over 10 years of experience and involves working within an international multidisciplinary design environment. The successful candidate will represent Setec on-site, coordinating technical activities and managing stakeholder interfaces.

Role Context

The Design Project Manager will ensure seamless collaboration between local project partners and Setec's engineering teams. This role is integral to a large-scale urban development initiative, working with leading international consultants and public stakeholders across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Makkah.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee Setec's design scope across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Act as the primary interface between Setec and project stakeholders.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities.
• Gather, consolidate, and communicate project requirements, decisions, and technical information to Setec's engineering teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of design outputs, reports, submissions, and technical deliverables.
• Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary project teams and support design integration.
• Prepare presentations and technical updates for clients and stakeholders.
• Support stakeholder management activities related to Setec's services.
• Contribute to business development initiatives by maintaining strong relationships with key public and private sector stakeholders in the Jeddah and Makkah regions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10 to 15 years of professional experience in engineering consultancy, infrastructure, transportation, metro, mobility, or urban development projects.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary design coordination and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and coordinate international design teams.
• Experience on large-scale master planning, infrastructure, metro, mobility, or urban development projects is highly desirable.

Work Environment

This role is based in the Jeddah-Makkah region, with responsibilities extending to Riyadh. The position involves working within an international multidisciplinary design environment, collaborating with various consultants and public stakeholders.
