Digital Project Lead

About the Role

Saudi Air Navigation Services is seeking a Digital Project Lead to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves managing new projects from conception through execution, focusing on data collection, research, and analysis to design and implement new initiatives. The Digital Project Lead will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve current processes that impact the business.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and organize new projects following data collection, research, and analysis. This includes active research to design new projects and preparing presentations for new ideas to enhance existing business processes. The role also requires providing regular update reports to ensure projects remain on track, including budget tracking, benchmarking, and milestone monitoring, all within established KPIs, agreed budgets, and adopted policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
• Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings, documenting and following up on important actions and decisions.
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensure project deadlines are met and escalate non-compliance items as needed.
• Determine and highlight project changes, developing action plans accordingly.
• Lead a portfolio of project and program management services for the ITOT department, including analysis, execution, and delivery.
• Supervise and manage project and program budgets, costs, resource allocation, and reallocations.
• Prioritize programs and projects based on changing functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies.
• Communicate the status of the project and program portfolio to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain the defined project scope and objectives to translate desired business benefits into clear and achievable project goals.
• Manage improvements in strategic project management processes, such as infrastructure services and service delivery, and project performance, capturing lessons learned and recommending changes.
• Ensure projects adhere to established frameworks and that all documentation is maintained appropriately.
• Assess project risks and issues, providing solutions where applicable.
• Create a project management calendar to fulfill each goal and objective.

• Conduct day-to-day activities in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes, considering leading practices, changes in the business environment, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
