The Role: Senior Academic Counsellor

TJS Studysteps is seeking a Senior Academic Counsellor – International Student Recruitment to join its team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on advising prospective students and their families on international education pathways, primarily to Malaysian universities, and facilitating their enrolment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counselling to prospective students and their parents regarding international education options.
• Recommend suitable Malaysian universities and academic programmes based on student profiles and aspirations.
• Guide applicants comprehensively through the university admission and student visa application processes.
• Convert initial enquiries into successful student enrolments.
• Conduct systematic follow-ups with leads to ensure engagement and progression.
• Work towards and achieve established student recruitment targets.
• Represent TJS Studysteps and its partner educational institutions with professionalism.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in academic counselling, international student recruitment, or a related field within the education sector.

Work Environment and Location

This is an on-site, full-time role located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work directly from the company's premises, engaging with students and parents in person.
