Electrician

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Electrician to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the hotel premises. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, and test batteries in generators and emergency lighting.
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and current National Electric Code and local codes.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and communicate professionally.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Required Qualifications

• A valid Driver’s License.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
