Electrician

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards are met. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using appropriate tools.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components to identify issues.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other electrical components.
• Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure proper functionality.
• Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, and other critical systems.
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and relevant electrical codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues, addressing service needs and concerns appropriately.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.

Work Environment

This role operates within a dynamic hotel environment, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. The Electrician will work collaboratively with other employees and respond to requests from supervisors.
