ERP Consultant

About the Role

Batterjee Medical College in Jeddah, Makkah al Mukarramah, is seeking an experienced ERP Consultant. This full-time role focuses on leading the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Odoo ERP platform. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring Odoo solutions, managing ERP projects, and supporting end-users to deliver scalable enterprise solutions for academic and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and accurately map them to Odoo functionalities.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand workflows, document processes, and identify system improvement opportunities.
• Translate business processes into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Perform full system implementation, module setup, and advanced Odoo configurations.
• Test modules and functionalities to ensure they meet defined requirements.
• Coordinate with Odoo developers for system customization and performance enhancement.
• Support data migration, system validation, and go-live activities, ensuring successful quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
• Manage assigned Odoo projects and tasks, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and quality standards.
• Track project progress and maintain reporting documentation, including project plans and task lists.
• Conduct end-user and departmental training on Odoo modules and best practices, providing functional support post-implementation.
• Evaluate system performance, recommend optimization measures, and contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and IT systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, enhancements, and workflows, and prepare reports on Odoo performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in business process analysis, solution design, and functional configuration.
• Experience implementing and supporting Odoo ERP across multiple business functions.
• Exposure to HR, Finance, Procurement, or Administrative Odoo modules is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to translate business processes into functional specifications.
• Proficiency in full system implementation, module setup, and advanced Odoo configurations.
• Knowledge of data migration, system validation, and go-live procedures.
• Familiarity with Odoo updates, best practices, and community advancements.

Project Management and Support

• Ability to manage projects and tasks, ensuring delivery within defined scope, time, and quality.
• Skill in tracking project progress and maintaining reporting documentation.
• Capacity to conduct end-user and departmental training effectively.
• Aptitude for providing functional support and guidance post-implementation.

Continuous Improvement and Documentation

• Commitment to enhancing the quality and performance of Odoo products and services.
• Ability to evaluate system performance and recommend optimization measures.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, enhancements, and workflows.
• Capability to prepare reports on Odoo performance, issues, and proposed improvements, and support audits and compliance reviews.
