Financial Operations Analyst

About the Role

Eram Talent, a global talent acquisition solutions provider, is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst for one of its prestigious clients. This contract position is based onsite in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, serving the Jeddah and Makkah regions. The role is central to the financial operations of active contracts and projects, focusing on invoice verification and accounting.

Role Overview

The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for the verification, tracking, reporting, analysis, and recording of all contractual and associated financial expenditures. This includes ensuring compliance with organizational policies, accounting principles, and financial regulations for all invoices related to C&C active contracts and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify invoices for accuracy against Purchase Orders and contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
• Ensure complete documentation for all invoices and financial actions, obtain necessary approvals, create SAP entries, and confirm correct charging to assigned WBS/Cost Centers and GL codes. Support the Finance department in payment finalization.
• Develop relationships with proponents, vendors, and internal departments. Address customer requests and queries, resolve discrepancies (*, PO extensions, invalid charging codes), investigate slow approvals, and assist with past due or denied invoices.
• Provide accurate reports and detailed analysis on invoices, vendor financial data, trends, and performance across contracts and projects using business tools and analytical techniques.
• Continuously review business processes and systems to recommend effective improvements aligned with industry best practices.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties as assigned within the scope of the employee's knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial operations or a similar role.

Work Location

This is an onsite position located in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, serving the regions of Jeddah and Makkah.
