Overview of the Financial Operations Analyst Role

Hala is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves examining financial operations and recommending strategic actions aimed at increasing profit margins. The analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data and processes within the organization.

Core Financial Operations Responsibilities

• Maintain and correct customer tax data.
• Prepare, review, and verify customer data for tax invoices, ensuring compliance and correctness.
• Address inquiries, resolve issues, and track discrepancies related to tax invoices and credit notes.
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting financial transaction data.
• Verify payment and document processes to ensure accurate payment amounts.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Prepare and perform analysis reports upon request.
• Assist with pre-forming data analysis, including the development of standard metrics and trend management.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting schedules.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand the main drivers of variance from budget.
• Prepare, consolidate, review, and present cost analysis on a monthly basis to finance and operations leadership teams.

Process Improvement and Management Support

• Identify, perform, and drive process improvement opportunities within the month-end close process.
• Support management reporting related to operations performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Financial Operations Analyst position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial operations or a related analytical role. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
