About the Role

Asas Elevators is seeking an experienced Elevator Installation Technician specializing in Mechanical systems to join our team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience in elevator mechanical installation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical installation work in accordance with approved drawings and manufacturer instructions.
Set out installation reference lines, install guide rail brackets and rails, and ensure correct alignment.
Assemble and install car frames, counterweights, cabins, landing doors, and car doors.
Install traction machines, suspension systems, ropes, or belts according to the elevator type.
Install mechanical safety devices and pit components, and support inspections and testing under the responsible engineer’s supervision.
Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards, and accurately report work progress.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant vocational qualification.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in elevator mechanical installation.
Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and using measuring and alignment tools.
Experience installing machine-room (MR) and machine-room-less (MRL) traction elevators.
Ability to safely use installation tools and lifting equipment.
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia and a valid driving license are preferred.
