Internal Audit Assistant Manager

About the Role

* Naghi Motors is seeking an Internal Audit Assistant Manager to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves supporting the General Internal Audit (GIA) Management by planning and executing audit engagements, managing audit teams, and ensuring alignment with the annual audit plan. The position emphasizes day-to-day audit execution, team supervision, and technical oversight to maintain consistency and quality across all assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of the annual audit plan.
• Plan and scope audit engagements based on risk assessments and the annual audit plan.
• Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing data and evidence, documenting client processes and procedures, and supervising team members.
• Execute assigned duties by set deadlines and in accordance with Internal Audit Policy and Procedure, while supervising team member performance.
• Lead and support audit teams, providing technical guidance to ensure audits are completed within scope and timeline.
• Assist in reviewing audit assignments and investigations conducted by team members to ensure audit objectives are achieved.
• Review observations and draft reports before communication with Business Unit (BU) Management.
• Coordinate with BU Management and attend opening and closing meetings as required.
• Track the implementation status of audit issues and recommendations.
• Manage and supervise multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
• Comply with internal audit standards, policies, and ethics.

Team Leadership and Development

• Provide on-job training and regularly evaluate the performance of team members.
• Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional certifications, and share knowledge gained with coworkers.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in internal audit or a related field. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage audit processes and lead teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering both Jeddah and Makkah. The role operates within a structured internal audit department, requiring adherence to established policies and ethical standards.
