About Tabuk Pharmaceuticals

Tabuk Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Key Account Specialist to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role focuses on building and managing relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting both existing and new pharmaceutical products.

The Role of Key Account Specialist

The Key Account Specialist is responsible for driving sales and achieving targets through strategic planning, market research, and effective budget management. This position involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships to expand market presence and product adoption within the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a database of tenders' timetables, potential, and decision-makers to establish new business opportunities and channels.
  • Identify and capture ad-hoc (direct purchases) business opportunities through regular Key Account (KA) visits and engagement with purchasers and pharmacists.
  • Initiate, negotiate, and receive Requests for Quotation (RFQs), including quotation preparation, delivery, and approval.
  • Receive purchasing orders and submit them to the relevant department for processing.
  • Leverage synergies with other territory teams and field players to maximize impact.
  • Introduce and promote existing products and new launches by engaging with doctors, clinical pharmacists, product technical committees, and pharmacists; manage evaluation studies as required.
  • Manage the promotional budget to ensure a balance between customer scientific support and return on investment.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, standalone meetings, group meetings, and conventions.
  • Plan for target achievement and allocate targets effectively among accounts.
  • Report weekly progress, identify gaps, and propose action plans to address them.
  • Prepare and update reports on customer profiles, needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Conduct market research for under-registration products.
  • Report on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through various channels.
  • Update the company database frequently to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all work-related documents and information.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as required by business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Saudi national.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. The role requires active engagement with various stakeholders and regular field visits.
