About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a Learning Specialist, AMZL Transportation Field L&D to join its expanding Learning team within Amazon Operations. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and focuses on enhancing the long-term capabilities of associates within the Last Mile operations.

Role Context and Objectives

The Learning Specialist works directly with Operations Managers, Area Managers, and associates to continuously improve the performance and skill sets within their assigned area. The primary objective is to apply learning tools and strategies to enhance operational metrics, ensuring associates develop job-related skills effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure associate performance across key areas including Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
• Apply established learning tools to improve operational metrics and drive efficiency.
• Enhance associates' job-related skills through targeted training and development.
• Develop, maintain, and implement learning tools such as methods, checklists, and skill-building agreements to foster associate growth.
• Assist in the successful execution of training plans during both peak and non-peak operational periods.
• Execute all standard trainer tasks as outlined in the Trainer Standard Work Checklist.
• Deliver network standard technical training to associates.
• Partner with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve existing training processes within work areas.
• Provide direct coaching to associates to improve their job performance.
• Manage training compliance to ensure all training records are accurately housed and maintained.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating comfort in both group settings and one-on-one interactions. The role requires an individual who can effectively give and receive feedback, follow up on commitments, and meet deadlines consistently. A goal-oriented approach and the ability to provide actionable insights to area managers are essential.
