Project Construction Manager

About the Role

*** is seeking a Project Construction Manager to oversee and deliver industrial, logistics, or large-scale construction projects within Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and focuses on managing projects from design development through to handover, ensuring adherence to cost, design, regulatory, and execution standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project and construction management, overseeing schedules, budgets, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate multiple contractors and work packages, ensuring effective integration of MEP, civil, architectural, and structural works.
• Manage and coordinate with local design consultants to ensure compliance with KSA regulations, codes, and approval requirements (*, KSA Fire & Life Safety Code, Saudi Building Code, MOMRAH, MODON).
• Oversee on-site construction activities, conducting regular inspections, progress reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Monitor project costs and variations, supporting cost-saving measures and value engineering initiatives.
• Support procurement activities, including contractor appointment, supplier sourcing, and material/equipment selection.
• Act as a key coordination point between internal technical teams, procurement, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports covering progress, risks, costs, and key issues.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate interface risks arising from split contracts and multiple subcontractors, maintaining a live interface risk register.

Design and Regulatory Compliance

The role involves managing coordination with local design consultants to ensure all designs comply with KSA regulations, codes, and approval requirements. This includes reviewing technical solutions for constructability, compliance, and cost efficiency, and liaising with authorities to support design approvals and permits.

Site and Contractor Management

This position requires overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure execution aligns with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. It involves conducting regular site inspections, progress reviews, and coordination meetings, as well as identifying and resolving technical, quality, safety, and schedule issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in project and construction management, preferably within industrial, logistics, or large-scale construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in cost control, design coordination, regulatory compliance, and on-site execution.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple contractors and work packages.
• Strong understanding of KSA regulations, codes, and approval processes.

Stakeholder Coordination and Reporting

The Project Construction Manager will serve as a central coordination point for internal technical teams, procurement, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders. This includes facilitating effective communication across multicultural teams, preparing regular project status reports, and capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement.
