Regulatory Specialist

About the Role

Diversey is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on coordinating SABER registration processes for machines and spare parts. The specialist will ensure timely registration, certificate renewals, and the issuance of shipment certificates, maintaining compliance with national and international regulations.

Role Overview

The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of SABER registration. This includes tracking and maintaining registration overviews, product registration, and certificate renewals. The role involves significant coordination with both internal stakeholders, such as R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams, and external bodies, including certified bodies, SABER customer support, and SASO services. The specialist will ensure ethical conduct and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely registration and renewal of product certificates, maintaining comprehensive files and documents related to product testing and compliance.
• Maintain supporting documentation, including test reports, type labels, product certificates, and shipment certificates.
• Efficiently manage timelines for regional and local projects and strategies, proactively communicating with relevant parties such as country/region leaders, RA, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with certifying bodies (*, SGS Dubai), SABER, and SASO, as well as internal stakeholders (*, EU R&D, MEA RA, UAE SC) to facilitate smooth product registration.
• Oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for certificate issuance by notified bodies and support cost control initiatives related to SABER.
• Deliver presentations to business management and report business issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management (BSc).
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves coordinating with diverse internal and external teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
