Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, Near Middle East

Deutsche Bahn is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager - Near Middle East (f/m/d) to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on supporting our strategic talent acquisition activities across the Middle East region. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Context and Regional Impact

The KSA branch in Jeddah serves as a strategic hub for talent acquisition, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects and bids across the Middle East. DB Engineering & Consulting is actively involved in key initiatives throughout the Near and Middle East, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Egypt. This position is central to shaping our regional talent strategy and ensuring the attraction and retention of top-tier expertise for our expanding presence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire recruitment process end-to-end, overseeing the successful placement of complex BID and project vacancies using the applicant tracking system.
Act as a trusted advisor and primary contact for hiring managers and other internal interfaces on all operational recruitment matters, ensuring alignment with international market requirements and corporate objectives.
Draft targeted job advertisements in coordination with internal stakeholders, screen and shortlist applicants, and independently conduct interviews to fill open vacancies with suitable candidates.
Proactively identify, approach, and engage suitable candidates through active sourcing on social networks, building a strong pipeline of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs.
Ensure an excellent candidate experience through timely communication, transparent feedback, and a positive interview process that reinforces the employer brand.
Build, maintain, and strategically leverage international talent pools for critical profiles, senior experts, and professionals to meet sustainable staffing needs in regional BID projects and local branches.
Collaborate with International HR in Germany, providing governance while actively contributing to the implementation of new processes, standards, and tools to enhance recruitment efficiency and quality.
Maintain accurate and current candidate and recruitment data within the applicant tracking system to facilitate reliable reporting and informed hiring decisions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in talent acquisition, demonstrating the ability to manage complex recruitment processes and advise hiring managers effectively. A proactive approach to sourcing and a commitment to candidate experience are essential for this role. Experience in a global or international recruitment environment, particularly within engineering or consulting, is beneficial.
