About Shangri-La Jeddah

The Service Associate Role

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking a Service Associate for a full-time position. This role is integral to supporting the daily operations within the hotel's service department, with a primary focus on laundry operations. The Service Associate ensures that all tasks are performed efficiently and according to established standards, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Report for duty in full, clean, and well-groomed attire.
Accurately sign in when reporting on duty and sign out when reporting off duty.
Prepare daily production forms as required.
Conduct routine checks of the work area for necessary preparations.
Verify that all equipment is in good working condition.
Clean and tidy the designated work area before the end of the shift.
Shut down steam pipes (where applicable), switches, and the main panel during the last shift.
Handover dirty uniforms to the Linen Room.
Adhere to environmental best practices, including reducing waste, recycling when possible, and reusing whenever applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in laundry operations within a hotel of at least 200 rooms, or in a large commercial laundry facility.
Willingness to work extended duty hours as operational demands require.
