MBRF, a prominent global food company, is seeking a dedicated Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Technician to join its team. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. Role Overview

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician is responsible for the effective operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the WWTP. The primary objective is to ensure that treated water quality consistently meets both company standards and environmental regulations, contributing to the overall operational integrity and sustainability of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to ensure treated water quality adheres to company and environmental standards.
• Perform routine operation and maintenance tasks on WWTP equipment, including air blowers, pumps, screens, sludge separation and transfer systems, dosing systems, clarifiers, and related treatment equipment.
• Monitor treatment parameters, conduct laboratory analysis, maintain accurate operational records, and adjust chemical dosing as required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues, providing support for corrective, preventive, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify abnormalities and implement corrective actions, ensuring reliable operation and minimizing downtime.
• Accurately record maintenance and operational activities within SAP and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals, tools, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain high standards of housekeeping across all WWTP areas.
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE, environmental, HACCP, GMP, 5S, food safety, and company standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
